'BOWL OF CREAM' Peony (Paeonia x lactiflora 'bowl of cream')
'BOWL OF CREAM' Peony (Paeonia x lactiflora 'bowl of cream')
'Bowl of Cream' is a fully-double, white beauty that will flower at the end of the peony season. This late-blooming variety is known as one of the best and biggest white cut-flower peonies in the world. 'Bowl of Cream' will produce massive white flowers; up to 12-inches across! The plant itself has deep green 30" sturdy branches. This combination makes 'Bowl of Cream' very pleasant to the eye and suitable as a cut-flower peony. An excellent garden peony this cultivar also performs well under greenhouse cultivation. A 'June Wedding' standard! Because of the massive size of the blossoms, this selection does best with staking. Awarded the American Peony Society’s Gold Medal in 1981. (Klehm, 1963).
