Columbine Biedermeier (Aquilegia vulgaris)

Flowers form a delicate star of outer petals surrounding an inner ring with yellow centers. The lowest growing Columbine yet, 18" in flower. This early-blooming dwarf form sports a profusion of flowers in all the Columbine colors. Long spurs project out behind the blossoms. Graceful, blue green foliage. At home in formal or cottage settings, its flowers are always a center of attention.
