'PINKY WINKY' Hydrangea (Hydrangea paniculata x 'pinky winky')

As good as 'Pink Diamond' is, we prefer this sport from the same parentage. 'Pinky Winky' is strong-stemmed with rigidly upright  12" blooms that are bigger, pinker, and less floppy than 'Pink Diamond'. Its long-lasting flowers will be a late-summer treat you'll look forward to and enjoy well into the fall. Flowers emerge in late July and persist endlessly until you cut them to bring inside for the winter as a dried bloom. Use 'Pinky Winky' as a specimen or create a blooming masterpiece of a hedge in a sunny or lightly shaded location. Grows to 8' if not trimmed. Blooms on new wood.
