'ADVANCE' Sword Lily (gladiolus dalenii x grandiflora 'advance')

Gladiolus are one of the easiest flowers to grow, requiring only full sun and good drainage. With sword-like foliage and tall flower scapes they make a stunning addition to any sunny garden location. Gladiolus 'Advance' boasts large, majestic, light to medium-red florets. A very tall selection, 'Advance' will reach a height of 55 to 65 inches and will bloom approx 75-80 days after planting. Plant your gladiolus after the danger of frost has past and the ground temperatures warm to at least 50 degrees. Planting at two week intervals through early summer will ensure blooms over a longer period of time.
