'BAICAL SKULLCAP' (Scutellaria baicalensis)

The 'baical skullcap comes with 30 organically certified seeds per packet. This herbaceous perennial does best in dry to mesic, sandy soils or poor quickly draining soils in the sun to part shade. In the spring or anytime in a greenhouse, barely cover seed and tamp securely, then keep evenly moist, warm and in the light until germination, which takes 24 days. Thin or transplant 1 to 2 feet apart. This plant may perennialize in areas that it prefers.
