'GARIBALDI' German Bearded Iris (Iris germanica x 'garibaldi')

A regal iris first used in home gardens way back in 1873, 'Garibaldi' is the most heirloom iris we offer. Its blooms, which open on 32" stems in mid to late-spring, consist of very ruffled, purple standards and white falls with contrasting purple, ruffled edges. Arms are a soft purple. Its gorgeous form and striking coloring catch the eye whether grown in an iris garden or a spring border. Also makes a great cut-flower. This outstanding perennial that returns and spreads year after year.
