Huge, nearly double blossoms up to 8" with a small nest of bright-yellow stamens and red petaloids in the center. Its deep oxblood-red with blue overtone give a dark color effect unusual in a hybrid. Velvety outer petals protect a perfect cup of fade-resistant inner ones. 'Belle Center's' inner petals are crinkled and informally arranged. Size, color, and form give it distinction. A single blossom per 30" stem make this a perfect cutting peony. Where a dark-red is needed, consider this beauty. Very early.
