'BLUE VERVAIN' (Verbena hastata)

The 'blue vervain' comes with 100 organically certified seeds per packet. This herbaceous perennials prefer full sun to part shade and will thrive in home garden or disturbed ground in the sun to part shade. Sow seeds on surface, barely cover, and tamp well. Best to sow outdoors in early spring. Alternately, mix seed in moist medium and refrigerate for 2 weeks, then sow warm. Germ in 2 to 4 weeks. Space plants 2 feet apart. Attracts bees and butterflies to its 5' blossoms.
