'APPLE BLOSSOM' Amaryllis (Hippeastrum x 'apple blossom')

'Apple Blossom' Amaryllis is an all-time favorite with large white blooms delicately brushed with pink and a lime green throat. Each bulb will produce 2-3 stems that grow to an average of 20-24 inches in height with 4-6 blossoms per stem.

Amaryllis is a popular holiday choice for a reason.  These plants offer a beautiful display for the Winter Holidays and are a reliable green houseplant. The plant can be grown through the winter and planted into the garden in spring. Lift it and bring back indoors in the fall after the leaves die back and leave the bulb to rest in a cool place for eight weeks. Then pot it up, place in the full sun, and begin watering. You will enjoy a second year of blossoms in 6-10 weeks!
