'CORNELLI' Sword Lily (Gladiolus Dalenii x grandiflora 'cornelli')

With florets up to 3" in size and an overall plant height of 4', 'Cornelli' fits squarely in the middle of the Gladiolus pack for size. But, its tangerine-orange brilliance brings it to the front for shear beauty! This variety blooms between 70 and 85 days from planting and can be planted as soon in spring as the soil is warm. As will all gladioli, they bloom based on the number of growing days they have had and not on time of the season. So, plant them over a succession of time in order to have them blossom over a long period later in the summer and fall.
