'DISCOVERY PURPLE' Dutch Iris (Iris x hollandica 'discovery purple')

The 'Discovery Purple' Dutch Iris is a new variety that offers a seducing color, vigorous growth, and long life in a vase. Its dark-purple flowers with a touch of gold constitute a marvelous decoration. 'Discovery Purple' is an Iris that brings some exotic flair to the garden. Its large and long lasting flowers consist of meticulously set petals, of which three point up and three are bent down. They appear over the tufts of juicy-green, linear leaves from May to July.
