’Equinox Valley’ has abundant double flowers that are sweetly-fragrant and bred to be 1/3 larger than other Lilac flowers. The upright branches of 'Equinox Valley' Lilac are topped with tapered panicles; deep purple-red buds appear in early-May and open into unique, double, lavender-purple, fragrant flowers. A must-have for indoor cut-flower arrangements.
This fragrant, deer-resistant beauty is a pollinator magnet. 'Equinox Valley' Lilac grows in USDA hardiness zones 3-8 and reaches up to 12 ft high and 4-8 feet wide. Use it as a colorful hedge that will quickly fill in and provide privacy. This lilac is lovely when strategically placed near walkways, decks, or entrance ways, so the magnificent fragrance and blooms can be enjoyed up close.
