'FIONA' Peony (Paeonia x lactiflora 'fiona')

AVAILABLE ONLY IN FALL!

Evenly sized cerise-red petals, much paler along the edges, open into a loose crown-like bloom above the waxy, dark-green leaves on dark-red stems. Acquired under this name some years ago it is also sold as ‘Red Sarah Bernhardt’; a plant it in no way resembles. Not APS registered, but very worth the garden space!

Available only in fall as bare roots.
