Not to be confused with Gardenia jasminoides, this garden beauty references both the fragrance and flower shape of that well-known tropical. Very productive, the huge 8-10" flowers open fully-double, ivory-white and with a hint of the palest shell-pink. The strong heady scent will bowl you over as the plants are very floriferous in the mid-season garden. Excellent for cutting as stems are strong and up to 36" in length. Best is mass plantings!
