'GREEN STAR' Sword Lily (Gladiolus dalenii x grandiflora 'green star')

The 'Green Star' Gladiolus is a highly unusual color, blooming in bright lime-green. It is an excellent variety for commercial cut-flower growers. Beautiful and long-lasting color for floral arrangements, this glad is also ideal for the back of a sunny border where it will rise up to 4' tall and shine above lower-growing perennials and annuals. Our green-colored Glads were best-sellers last year at our roadside market. Be prepared for them to be stars in your garden this year!

Plant your Gladiolus corms beginning when the soil warms in spring. You can keep planting them right up through June. Gladioli will blossom about 75-90 after planting, so by planting them over a long period during the spring will give you a long period of blossoming in the late summer and fall!
