'Gydan', with its stately, upright growth habit and unusual coloration, has already become a favorite newcomer to our gladiolus collection. Mid-summer brings bright, apple-green buds that burst open to reveal white blossoms lightly accented with the same apple-green hue. What a sight when both buds and blooms appear simultaneously on the 3-4' stalks. A hefty 10-12 florets emerge at one time, giving a very full look to the flower spikes. Plant in full sun for best results. For a longer blooming period in the late summer and fall, stagger several plantings over throughout the spring.
