'HIGH NOON' Tree Peony (Paeonia suffruticosa x lutea 'high noon')
Five to six inch, semi-double, bright-yellow blossoms with raspberry-colored petal 'flares' adorn this glorious woody shrub. 'High Noon' is an American hybrid between two hardy and floriferous parent species. The hybrid vigor is demonstrated by unusually fast growth, loads of silky blossoms, and the occasional out-of-season flowers! 'High Noon' is one of the easiest of the tree peonies to cultivate, and one of the few with notable fragrance. As with all tree peonies, they bloom early in the peony season so stand out in the garden. All our tree peony roots have been grown in the field for at least 2 to 3 years, so you are getting a head start towards a handsome specimen.
