Pinus jeffreyi is an American species of pine tree related to the better known Ponderosa pine. Unlike Ponderosa pine, Jeffrey pine does not like hot weather and is generally found in the Sierra Mountains of California and Oregon. The 6" to 8" cones of the Jeffrey Pine are very sturdy and hold up well in decorations indoors and out. These cones are sold individually and can be saved for reuse year after year.
