'Krasavitsa Moskvy' translates to 'Beauty of Moscow' and is aptly named. This garden stunner is a very fragrant double-flowered cultivar that was first developed by a Russian hybridizer in 1943. It matures over time to 12’ tall by 8’ wide, and is particularly noted for its mid-spring bloom of double, pink-blushed pearl-white florets that emerge from pale-pink buds to form showy two-toned flower panicles up to 8" long. 'Krasavitsa Moskvy’ is like no other lilac and will stand out in whatever aspect of your garden that you chose to use it. As a hedge, 'Krasavitsa Moskvy' is without competition. If there was room for only one last lilac in my garden, it would go to this selection.
