For all you New Yorkers out there, this one's for you. Introduced in 1941 from the Empire State, this fully-double blossom is still considered the best rose-form white on the market. Very large blossoms with very wide petals make this gal impossible to miss! The bud often starts with a thin stripe of magenta on the petal edge that disappears as the flower unfurls to reveal warm white "shabby chic" blossoms. Medium height to 32 inches. Very strong stems make this an excellent late-season cut-flower. Lasting substance. Grows and blooms well. Hard to find a better all-around double white at this price point.
