'MELISSA' Peony (Paeonia x lactiflora 'melissa')

Semi-double to double, 5" inch blossoms open light-yellow then fade to cream. Pink stigmas and yellow stamen poke through to add visual interest. Plants are very floriferous with a spreading growth habit. 36-inch stems may arch and touch the ground in heavy rain when in full bloom. Foliage is broad and dark green. Blooms early mid-season.

Zones 3-8.
