'MISS KIM' Manchurian Lilac (Syringa pubescens subvar. patula var. 'miss kim')
Couldn't load pickup availability
'Miss Kim' is likely the best known of the dwarf Manchurian lilacs. It is a compact, upright cultivar which grows 4-7' tall with a similar spread. Lavender-pink to ice-blue, sweetly fragrant, single florets are arranged in dense, terminal clusters to 3" long cover this shrub in May. Dark-green leaves turn burgundy in autumn. A good selection for southern climates as 'Miss Kim' requires only a short chill period, but also hardy well to the north. As is often the case with S. pubescens, it may re-bloom sporadically throughout the summer and into fall.
