Montauk Daisy (Nipponanthemum nipponicum)

A more shrubby perennial; the dark, glossy leaves are dense and create a mounded plant 3' tall and round. Single 3" white flowers start blooming in September and last until frost. An excellent selection for windy, rocky, and sun-exposed areas where other daisy-type perennials may suffer. The late blooming period of Montauk Daisy makes it standout in the garden and landscape. If you see a daisy in full-bloom after September, it's likely Nipponanthemum nipponicum!
