'MOONLIT SNOW' Peony (Paeonia x lactiflora 'moonlit snow')

A favorite for cut-flower production, 'Moonlit Snow' has fully-double six-inch blossoms borne atop very strong 32" stems making it perfect for cutting. But, this very attractive plant is also a strong contender for 'best white' in our peony beds, too. Slightly fragrant and pleasantly compact, the blossom stands out among the best-known whites in the late mid-season. 'Moonlit Snow' has creamy undertones to its otherwise pure snow-white color. In arrangements, the petals subtly reflect other colors around them. Very good form and substance. (Klehm, 1978).
