Introduced in 1987 this lavender-purple blossom has prominent yellow-green throat held above 24" sturdy scapes. 'Newberry Festival' is not a commonly seen selection and few growers offer it, which is a shame. It has beautiful color and a broad growing zone appeal. In the South, keep it out mid-day sun to have the best flower color.
