'CENTRAL PARK' Oriental Poppy (Papaver x orientale 'central park')

Outstanding, deep reddish-purple blooms are born on wiry stems in late spring to early summer. The 5" to 6" flowers have a satiny texture, crepe-like appearance and large, velvety-black seed capsules surrounded by purple stamens. 'Central Park' is anything but the traditional orange poppy and your garden will stand out with this selection.
