'PASTEL SPLENDOR' Itoh Peony (Paeonia x intersectional 'pastel splendor')

The upward-facing, lightly fragrant flowers of 'Pastel Splendor' are artful and intriguing.  4" to 6” single-type blooms sport lavender-pink petals that are creamy near the center with deep reddish-purple flares at the base. This popular selection is a vigorous grower, and mature plants have a high blossom count, even by Itoh peony standards. These colorful gems produce all season long with up to 50 decadent blooms apiece. Mid-season. Height to 36".
