Vaccinium corymbosum, commonly known as high bush blueberry, is an upright, deciduous shrub native to eastern North America where it typically grows in moist woods, bogs, swamps and low areas.
'Reka' was developed in New Zealand where it has become known as a fast-growing and heavy yielding varietal. It is more heat tolerant than many other high bush blueberry varieties. Intensely-red autumn foliage is attractive in the landscape. Shrub grows 6' to 5' tall and wide.
