'RUBY KING' Japanese Iris (Iris ensata x 'ruby king')

Big deep-purple flowers have a flag of bright yellow at the base of the petals. Excellent near water features, in damp borders, at the edge of ponds or streams, or even in pots plunged halfway to the rim in water gardens.
