'Subtle knife' sports medium-sized, 5" flowers of bi-toned lilac-purple with grey washed halo and edge. The heavily ruffled edge have yellow-gold teeth. All of this kaleidoscope of color above a green throat. Early season re-bloomer, heavily ruffled edges. Height to 36". Semi-evergreen. A good selection for more southern gardens if given some shade in the heat of the day.
