Windflower Snow Angel (Anemone hupehensis)

Anemone Snow Angel offers late-season interest, just as other plants are beginning to fade. With a long blooming season, the plant flowers heavily in a flurry of bright white poppylike flowers with a yellow "button" of stamens in late summer into early autumn, attracting butterflies.

Zones 6-9  NOT RELIABLY HARDY IN CHAMPLAIN VALLEY. PROVIDE PROTECTION FROM NORTH  WINDS AND WINTER MULCHING TO IMPROVE SURVIVAL.
