'PINK SNOWFALL' 桃花飞雪 Chinese Peony (Paeonia x lactiflora 'tao hua fei xue/pink snowfall')

Champlain Peony Company is very excited to introduce a few very select cultivars of herbaceous peonies from China: an ancient home to modern-day peonies! 桃花飞雪, Tao Hua Fei Xue or 'Pink Snowfall' is a magnificent cotton-candy pink, fully-double, bomb-style, herbaceous peony. Each ruffled petal is deep-pink at its center and slowly transitions to the palest of pinks at the edges. This makes for a nearly bi-colored blossom. Flowers are borne well above the course foliage and the medium-sized bushes are robust and very floriferous. Nicely scented. Limited quantity.

4 to 5-eyed bare roots shipped in late fall or early spring only.
