A near fully-double blossom with a small nest of stamens in center. The dark medium-red petals have a blue overtone, giving a color effect unusual in a hybrid. The inner petals are crinkled and informally arranged. 'Belle Center's' large 8" size, unique color, and form give it distinction. Grows to 32". Very early blooming. (Mains, 1956).
