'COLONEL OWEN COUSINS' Peony (Paeonia x lactiflora 'colonel owen cousins')
'COLONEL OWEN COUSINS' Peony (Paeonia x lactiflora 'colonel owen cousins')
When a flower bud grows to the size of a tennis ball before even opening, you know you're about to witness something truly special. This astonishing peony bears bomb-shaped, 8-10" blooms that are not only unbelievably large but breathtakingly beautiful. The ivory globe of beautifully crinkled inner petals is framed by a row of large, white guard petals tinged in salmon-copper. A gorgeous combination of clean edges and sumptuous, fragrant, crepe-center with a coppery glow. Head and shoulders more interesting than most whites. Early flowering. Height to 30". (Cousins/Klehm, 1972). Heirloom.
Zones 3-8
Bare root 3/5-eye and field stock are available only in late-fall and winter.
POTTED OPTION IS NOT AVAILABLE FOR SHIPPING. PICK UP AT NURSERY ONLY.

Very happy with the great quality, big peony bareroots that I received. I can't wait to see them grow and bloom. I'll be back for more!
