雨后风光; Yu Hou Feng Guang Charming Sights after Rain.

'Yu Hou Feng Guang', also known as 'Charming Sights After Rain', features bluish-rose, ball-shaped, 7-inch to 8-inch flowers in the mid-spring. The flowers are excellent for cutting borne at the end of very stiff stems on trees up to 8 feet in height and 6 feet wide. It has attractive, light-green, deciduous foliage. The narrow, compound leaves are highly ornamental but do not develop any appreciable fall color. The Shandong region of China has been cultivating 'Mudan' (peonies) for over three thousand years! Champlain Peony Company is pleased to present this lovely 'King of Flowers' from China's ancient peony capital in very limited edition.

USDA Zones 4-8 would be very successful zones for this peony. It can tolerate somewhat warmer areas than most other peonies.

Bare roots are available for shipping in late-fall and winter only. 3-4 branches. Tree peonies are sold by the branch number and not by the 'eye' as herbaceous and intersectional peonies. Typically, you will find single-branched tree peonies for sale. Ours are much larger and more mature at 3-4 branches. (Zhaolou Peony Garden, 1971).
