'FALERNIAN GRAPES' Peony (Paeonia x lactiflora 'falernian grapes')

Peony 'Falernian Grapes' is an early mid-season herbaceous hybrid with upward-facing, fully-double, deep-pink blossoms. Its very large and showy flower-buds open to an impressive seven-inch, deep-pink flower with white-washed edges. 34" stems bare a single flower with slight lemon fragrance. Upright vigorous growth, healthy dark-green foliage with broad pointed leaves, and strong thick stems make this a perfect selection for the cutting garden or mid-border. Introduced in 2022 by Joshua Scholten.
