The early-season blossoms of 'Kathy's Touch' are medium-pink with the classic flower-in-flower style of this group. The inner flower can be variable from semi-double in young plantings to fully-double in established stands. Yellow stamen can sometimes be seen and when they are apparent, they are a pleasant distraction from the pure pink. These vigorous and floriferous plants have self-supporting 32" stems making extra support unnecessary. 'Kathy's Touch' makes both a terrific cutting peony and a truly knockout stand-alone in the perennial garden. EXTREMELY LIMITED QUANTITY and very difficult to find. (Hollingsworth, 2009)
