'LEMON DREAM' Itoh Peony (Paeonia x intersectional 'lemon dream')
Large, yellow, single to semi-double blossoms on solid 28" to 32″ plants of excellent habit. The petals can be streaked with varying amounts of lavender making for a stunning contrast to fully-yellow flowers. Every now and then, a bloom will open half lavender, half yellow; a real novelty! The coloring is completely random and changes every year! Still rare and highly collectable. Mid-season. Fragrant. VERY LIMITED QUANTITY. (Anderson, 1999).

Don't get me wrong, the peony roots that were sent were large and very good quality. However they were supposed to ship by mid October. When I reached out in late October I was told that my order was in que to be shipped. They did not arrive until the end of November by which time we had several frost already. I have my doubts that they will come up in spring, time will tell.
Pleasantly surprised how large and healthy looking the root came. Can’t wait to see the beautiful flowers she produces.
When my peony roots arrived, I was so pleasantly surprised because I was expecting a small root segment, like I have seen in other catalogues. But this was not the case. This was a large and deep segment of roots. My shipment arrived seven days after I placed my order. I am now a huge fan of this nursery, and will look forward to many more purchases.
Thought it would be a fall order but I planted it the same day it came . There were 3 eyes on it hopefully will see some growth/ buds spring 2025
