Introduced in 1943, 'Moonstone' is a delightfully fragrant, fully-double peony. The delicate pink blush on its large blossoms gives each flower a translucent glow, and sturdy stems keep them upright. The round blossoms mature to an antique ivory-white with blush wash. Winner of the American Peony Society's Gold Medal. Blooms mid-season on stems to 36". (Murawska, 1943). Heirloom.
