'REBEL' Tree Peony (Paeonia x rockii 'flare rebel')

Flare tree peony 'Rebel' (Gao Yuan Sheng Huo) has 7-inch, purple-red flowers, with a light fragrance. The flowers are semi-double and they bloom like a rose (without stamens). The plant is erect with strong growth and hardiness. Adult plants are more than 5' tall and produce a large number of flowers beginning early in their lives.
