Enormous cup-shaped flowers of a clear and lovely blush-pink. Color and size are unusual for the very-early season. Fragrant. the crepe flowers are filled with frilly, golden-yellow stamen making for an eye-catching early peony display. Great bloomer and very hardy. Grows to 36" with attractive foliage that colors up nicely in autumn. Will tolerate some shade, especially in the hot afternoons. (Saunders, 1950).
