With its elegant, perfectly shaped, pristine white blooms reminiscent of a veiled bride on her wedding day, it's hard to find a prettier peony. The flowers, which measure 7" in diameter, feature rounded and cupped guard petals girdling a ball-shaped center filled with smaller, loosely packed petals. They bloom early in the season on strong, 39" stalks and release a strong scent. The pure white of the flowers seems even brighter when set off by the plant's lush, green foliage. Excellent choice for the cutting garden. (Klehm, 1990).
