'SUNNY GIRL' Peony (Paeonia lactiflora x 'sunny girl')

RARELY offered! Very erect stems lift immense, double-petaled, 6–7" peonies above the plant's ornamental foliage of rich, deep green. As they mature, the sunny yellow flowers soften to a creamy shade of chartreuse, creating even more contrast with the foliage. STUNNING. An exceptional garden peony, but also a stunning addition to fresh-cut bouquets. Early flowering and lightly fragrant. (Laning, 1985).
