Introduced in 1991, 'Blushing Princess' is a semi-double, soft-pink hybrid that will flower very early in the season. 'Blushing Princess' has beautiful light-pink flower buds that will unfold to nearly double flowers that will turn toward white during the maturing process. 'Blushing Princess' has strong stems that stand upright. The leaves have an elegant shape and the plant itself is very productive. Over the last few years 'Blushing Princess' has become a popular collectors item and garden peony. the variety is a high performing and sought-after variety as a cut-flower peony for most climates including greenhouse cultivation.
