'Impossible Dream' has saturated lavender-lilac, semi-double blossoms fading to silvery-pink as the flower ages. The yellow stamens atop cream-colored filaments and cream stigma add an attractive central element to these intensely beautiful, 9 to 10-inch blossoms. Flowers are displayed well above the foliage on strong 36-inch stems. Mildly fragrant. Late-spring to early-summer bloomer. One of our most intense blue-purple peonies and an exquisite addition.
