Antique-white with a faint moon-yellow glow upon first opening, this perfect, fully-double, rose-type blossom has unusual refinement and great charm. Fragrant. 'Joseph Christie' received an Honorable Mention at the American Peony Society show in Des Moines, Iowa. Medium height with strong 32" stems and clean healthy foliage well distributed on stems. Blooms late-spring to early-summer. (Rosenfield, 1939). Heirloom.
