'KINKO' Tree Peony (Paeonia x lutea 'kinko')
'KINKO' Tree Peony (Paeonia x lutea 'kinko')
'Kinko' is a sunny-yellow, fully-double, fragrant, tree peony. Also known as 'Jin Huang', this rose-scented lutea hybrid is a very popular tree peony in Japan. Named 'Alice Harding' by Lemione in 1935, it was re-named 'Kinko' in 1939 by Wada. But, no matter the name you choose to use, this will be a standout and very showy peony for the border garden. (Lemione, 1935). Heirloom.

Jeffrey Greenwood I will give it time. It didn’t look viable. Waiting to see if it awakens.
