Introduced in 2022 by Joshua Scholten, 'Maxentius' is an early, semi-double to fully-double, pink hybrid peony. Smooth flower buds open to 7", outward-facing blossoms with frilled and curled petals. Attractive plant grows to 30" with a vigorous and sturdy character. Named for the Roman Augustus Maxentius who ruled Rome in the early 4th century.
