This exhibition-quality peony blooms with fully-double, large flowers opening pink-blushed and then quickly fading to beautiful pure white. If grown in partial shade, the blush color is retained much longer. Very broad fluted petals with serrate edges make an overall well-tailored look to this voluptuous flower. 'Nancy Nicholls' is mildly fragrant. The medium-height 32" stems will need additional support in the landscape for best results, but if planting for late-season cut-flowers, no support is necessary if cut in the 'marshmallow bud' stage.
