Peony 'Philip the Arab' is an early-flowering peony with large 8" blooms, huge flower buds and stems with side-buds that prolong the flowering season. A light lemon fragrance makes 'Philip' a standout in the garden. A vigorous grower with healthy green foliage 'Philip' has good potential for cut-flower production, but is likely to need stem support due to its extraordinarily large blossoms. (Scholten, 2022).
